So after we had been married 8 months we found out we were expecting. Im sure you can imagine the fear and panic that flooded my mind at this purly accidental baby, and yet 9 months later, on November 16th at 2 in the moning our sweet bundle of joy was born.

Mommy and Little Monster <3

We were blessed to have an amazingly fast delivery and no complications and returned home a few days later! My sweet little mom was so willing to come out a little prior to Rileys birth and ended up staying with us a month with us! As a new mom that was the single most amazing thing that could have happened for me! Two weeks after she left we had the opertunity to fly back home to Texas and introduce Riley to the deep south and the Joy that is MY side of the family! it was interesting to say the least.. and bless Mitchells poor little heart, i dont think he thought the baby and were going to be coming back to Utah!

First Post!

Seeing as this is our first blog post I figured it would be fitting to introduce the story of Mitch and I.
We met in 2006 while he was on a mission for our church! At that point in time I never would have guessed that he was the man I would be with for forever, and had you told me then I more than likely would have laughed ( I was still in high school and marriage was the furthest thing from my mind!) After he returned home, and dated all the other Texan girls he could think of, I recieved the first and last e-mail from him. We began talking over the phone and getting to know eachother and come July of 2008 I flew out to Utah to visit him for the first time. After that we were as attached at the hip as two people can be who live far apart. I moved to Colorado to go to school at CSU and once a month one of us flew to see the other. I moved to Utah in January of 2009 (because i knew he would ask me to marry him eventually and I wanted to be closer) come the following Valentines day we were engaged! On July 11, 2009 we were married in the Mt Timpanogous temple for time and all eternity :)
We closed on our first home two weeks prior to being married and moved in right after the honeymoon and Texan reception. Its a cute little two bedroom, one bath with a spacious backyard and has suited us perfectly! We really couldn't think of a better place to start our little family!
